What to do with USB 3.0 front panel connector

What if my motherboard doesn't have a usb 3.0 header and my case does. Is it okay to just tuck the usb 3,0 connector with the other wires and not use the usb 3.0 port until i get a usb 3.0 to usb 2.0 adapter?

Yeah that's It only means you will not have functionality out of those USB ports. Until of course you get that adapter.

Yes, you can safely tuck that USB 3.0 connector inside the case till such time you get USB 3.0 adapter or change the mobo. No Issue.
