What to know for my first SSD? Some tips of using SSD?

I am getting my first SSD soon. I'm wondering what are somethings that I should know of and some tips when using SSD.

I've also found:

What do you guys think of the guide?

I would go with the computing.net one. You don't necessarily need to do everything listed there, but it does help free up more space and optimize the performance all the much more. the only thing that i would say is required is switching to AHCI.
