I just got a RTX 2070 super as a birthday present and I was wondering what I should upgrade to play cyberpunk 2077? Here are my PC parts that I have now....

CPU R3 3200g
GPU RTX 2070 Super FE
MEM 16GB
PSU corsair 450watt
Monitor Phillips 1080p 60hz
Mobo MSI B450i itx gaming plus ac
Case Thermaltake Core V1

Should I upgrade my CPU to a 3300x /3600 or my monitor to a high refresh rate 1080p? Unfortunately I can't do both right now, but I do want to play cyberpunk 2077 when it comes out. Thank you for your help.

You can't do anything with that 450W PSU.

First step is to upgrade to at least a CX650 (non M is better)

Then you'll have about $140-130 left. If you can sell the 3200G, you might be able to fit in a 3600.

60Hz is...

60Hz is definitely underpowered for that 2070s (but if you turn on RTX at ultra, not that much underpowered)
So you can either buy a monitor or a new CPU. I think the cheapest good 144hz 1080p monitors go for nearly $200, which means you'll have to get more money or sell something (old monitor) . You can NOT skip on the PSU. You MUST buy at least a CX650

So here's what I would do
first priority CX650 non M gray label:

Then a 144hz monitor (LG 24GL650F (TN panel, fast but washed out colors) is a great budget option. Or an Acer VG240YP (IPS, slower but much better colors))

Then at least a 3300X

Anythinh 3300X and above will NOT significantly bottleneck the 2070S
