Question What to upgrade for my pc (sweet budget)

Hey all,
I mostly play Fortnite Competitively and I really need a beast of a PC.
I have 1000$ to upgrade my PC.
And would appreciate if any of you could tell me what to upgrade for my rig.

pc specs:
i7 6700 oc to 3.8
gtx 1070
16gb ram
1920x1080 144hz monitor
EVGA supernova 750 B2

What exactly do you need improving that your current PC doesn't give you?
PSU make and model?
Any upgrade GPU wise from the 1070 would probably be ineffective with a 1080p monitor.

Upg mostly gpu because fortnite is gpu intensive

Isn't this when players are less on the map? i wouldn't expect heavy lag at allfrom your rig playing fortnite. Have you monitored % usage and temps of CPU and GPU?

Again, upgrading GPU may not be worth it with a 1080p monitor.

Also if you upgrade when none of your components are actually limiting, then you may not see any difference.

the reason I want to upgrade is because sometimes the game is butter smooth and sometimes its tearing like HELL
