[SOLVED] What to upgrade next and not bottleneck?

Hi all,

If I were to upgrade 1 thing on my computer, which component should it be and not cause a bottleneck?

My current set-up:

MoBo	ASUS TUF Z370 Pro Gaming LGA1151 DDR4 HDMI DVI M.2 Z370 ATX Motherboard with Gigabit LAN and USB 3.1 for 8th Generation Intel Core Processors
CPU	Intel BX80684I78700K 8th Gen Core i7-8700K Processor
Cooler (CPU)	CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm
Memory	Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Desktop Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16)
GPU	EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 HYBRID GAMING, 8GB GDDR5X, LED, All-In-One Water-cooling with 10CM FAN, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) Graphics Card 08G-P4-6188-KR
PSU	EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2, 80+ GOLD 850W, Fully Modular, EVGA ECO Mode, 10 Year Warranty, Includes FREE Power On Self Tester, Power Supply 220-G2-0850-XR

I was thinking about either upgrading my GPU to the new Nvidia 30 series or upgrading my CPU to the AMD Ryzen Threadripper (which of course will require a new MoBo...).

What monitor do you have?

GPU-wise, the GTX1080 is roughly equivalent to an Nvidia RTX2060 Super or AMD RX5700.

Honestly, right now is a horrible time to buy PC components. I'd recommend enjoying your existing rig for a while. Maybe the next year?

Do you have any need to upgrade? It dosent sound like it.
Agreed, now is not the time to be buying hardware, and I see no indication your system is not performing well enough (otherwise you would know what needed to be replaced).
