What to upgrade next?

Hello all,

I consider myself a casual gamer and I would like some advice on what to upgrade next. Now I have done a little bit of research lately and to me it seems that I hit a bit of threshold regarding what I should upgrade.. My current build is:

  • -MSI Z87-G41 pc mate motherboard
-Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Windforce OC Video Card
    -Corsair - Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
-Western Digital - BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
    -Intel - Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
    -Arctic 750 watt PSU

Now as it stands it looks like I've hit the point where I should probably upgrade on a much larger scale (which I can't afford currently). I have recently upgraded my graphics card to the one it is stated on the list. It was an AMD Radeon HD 6770. I considered upgrading/adding a SSD card to run windows on, does anyone know whether that would give a considerable boost to this set up?

Any suggestions are welcome!

Are you unhappy with gaming performance? If not, get a 240+ gb SSD and migrate OS to SSD, you are done. Any meaningful upgrade will probably need major change to the build, coffee lake is recommended.

I'm not so much complaining about my current performance, however I would like to know more about whether I could get myself an upgrade without overhauling the whole system.. Would you reckon the SSD would create a difference in my gaming experience? Also, I would like to know your opinion about upgrading my processor; do you think it would be worth it? And what would you go for considering my current build?

Thank you Vapour for your quick and helpful responses and spurring me on to look further than just spending unnecessary money on an older build. I think I have decided to keep saving a little longer and perhaps look into starting a Coffee lake set up at some point.
