I have a asus rog g11cd-nr038t exept i have upgraded my gpu to a 1060 6gb and now i wonder about what to upgrade next?

if i'm reading the correct spec sheet the i7-6700 will do you for some time yet but 8GB RAM could do with a bump to 16GB.

replace RAM.
Mixing RAM is a gamble and will take testing to know if they will work. just replace with a larger set and sell what you have now

yes I have had 2 sticks the same make. model and made 1 apart, the serial numbers were in sequence and they would not work together.
impurities in the chips. where the chips are cut from the die, and many other variables can effect their ability to work together (as one unit). this is why kits are tested, verified, and guaranteed to work together.
