Im lookingto upgrade my graphics card. Currently have a Nvidia 560ti but BF4 is looking a bit drab and I think I could do with a new card. I used to think that a higher model number would be better but have recently found that this is not the case.

I am running a six core AMD processor and 8gig of Corsair RAM as well. My budget is going to be under £200.

If the card is primarily for BF4, get an AMD card. AMD's perform better and will further outperform once Mantle is released.

If you insist on NVIDIA, I wouldn't go any lower than a 760. A 760 is somewhere between a 660Ti and 670. 660Ti would be a cheaper option if you can still find them.

Your upgrade will be limited by your budget and your psu.
Your GTX560ti should have a 500w psu.
Newer cards that will run on the same 500w psu might be a GTX760 or a R9-270X.
Either would be a nice upgrade if it meets your budget.
I would not do a lesser upgrade because the performance difference might not be big enough and disappoint you.

As to AMD vs. Nvidia, you will get similar value from each. AMD tends to be optimized to FPS benchmarks, and Nvidia tends to run cooler with less lagging.
Most like the Nvidia drivers better.
In the end, though, the differences at a given price point are minor.
