Hello there, first time poster on the forums.
I am looking to improve my computer. When I brought it around 2 years ago it would run anything without a care in the world at ultra graphics. As time as passed obviously games graphics have improved and I have now hit the point where on some games my computer struggles.
This includes trying to run Skyrim with all the visual enhancing mods, and also Battlefield 4.
I would really like to return to running games at ultra graphics but I am unsure on what to change to make my computer do this.
Here are my computer specs:
Windows Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST
Total RAM: 16.0 GB
I looked at one website and it suggested upgrading to Windows 8.1 and also upgrading my graphics card.
Can anyone make any suggestion for me to future proof my computer for the oncoming months?
Thank you in advance for any advice and suggestions
