So, im looking for some opinions on what CPU to upgrade to, ive got some burning money and figured i want a new CPU (nothings really wrong with my current one, but it couldnt hurt to go up a little.

Current system specs:

Mobo ASUS M5a97 R2.0
CPU: Amd FX-6300
RAM: 16GB HyperX Beast
GPU: GTX 970 4GB
PSU: NZXT HALE 700W
Not sure which FX to go with.
And im pretty sure the mobo can handle a 125W CPU, my current one is rated 95W but i dont think it would be an issue.

8370?
8320?
What would you all suggest, and if any of you have any knowledge of whether or not some of these will not work please let me know.

Thank you.

Solution
Buy the 8350 instead of the 8370, the 8370 is more money only for less power consumption. You will not seem much performance in gaming with the 8350 but in some heavy multi-threaded applications you might. The 8350 has barely any better single-core performance, the $60 more is for 8 cores, so make sure you really need 8 cores. What do you do? Gaming?

And if you overclock, the 8350 can achieve a higher overclock than the 6300 so that can actually help.

I was going to suggest the same thing! +1

Here's some benchmarks comparing the CPUs
