What to upgrade?

Hey everyone! This is my system at the moment... (can't remember what MOBO I have, currently not at home)

CPU: FX 8320
GPU: Geforce GTX 760 (2gb)
8GB RAM

I am an avid gamer. This does an okay job at playing most of the games I throw at it, however a few of my games are very stuttery. Constantly dropping frames! What is a good and afforadble upgrade I can make? I am thinking about getting one of the lower end i7's. Any tips?

what's your budget first of all? you could try upgrading your graphics card, which would make a huge impact on gaming. Your CPU/ram is fine.

Sounds like you should upgrade the gpu if you're dropping frames. The GTX 1060 3gb is the best bang for the buck card out right now.

Well, right now I was TRYING to play PlayerUnknown's Battleground .. it runs horribly on my setup. I have heard that this is partially due to the game's bad optimization. I am excited to hear that you guys think my 8320 is okay for gaming. Im not looking to spend more than 300 on the card. So the 1060 is looking good. Anyone have any opinions on the RX 480 vs the GTX 1060?

you can google the sys requirements , you don't even have to click on the links , there usually comes a box at the top from some random search result giving you the system requirements

i had similar setup .. .. i upgraded the gpu to gtx 1060 6gb and now i play most games at high and ultra without any issue with vsync

you may consider the same or the 3gb version ..
