I have a pretty bad pc, SSC 960 2gb with a fx 4300 and 8gb ram. Im upgrading the cpu first then the graphics card and ram. Im wondering if i should get another 960 and sli them or just get a new card altogether along with what cpu would work best with the build. I dont want too much of an upgrade, just enough to run newer games like battlefield 1 or PUBG on high - ultra settings. Also intel CPUs will be fine too since i will most likely upgrade the motherboard as well.

Sell all your pc except hdd and get this:

If you can spend more, get GTX 1060 6gb instead.

what if i just get a 1060 3gb with a ryzen 5 1600x?
no need to upgrade motherboard or sell anything else.

You will have to get a new motherboard for Ryzen and new RAM at the very least. You didnt mention your PSU so you would probably have to get a new one of those as well.
