What to upgrade?

So guys i bought a new GPU (gigabyte r9 290) new PSU ( GX 750)
and now as I expected im stuck with a bottleneck because my CPU and Motherboard (amd phenom ii x4 b45 and gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2 rev.1.2) and 8 gb ddr3 1333mhz ram so i need your help what should i upgrade and whats best for bucks, my budget is 150€

Support for that MB https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-78LMT-S2-rev-12#support-cpu says you could upgrade CPU with lower speed versions of FX processors. I would suggest you find an FX6300 just make sure that BIOS version is F6.
That's just about as high as would make any sense on that system.

I’d be loathed to invest any money in that old platform. I’d suggest saving your money until you can upgrade to a modern platform/cpu. Even a FX6300 is weak by modern standards.

A used FX 6300 could be bought for very low price but would make a good addition for now and narrow the gap with GPU.

Yes it says so but for gaming it wouldn't help much more or at all.

So you want to say that my motherboard can support it but not to its full potential?

It's just couple of extra cores but a lot more of a load on the MB. Any games you can play on that system do not require more than 4 cores but with FX 6300 there's possibility to overclock a bit and take advantage of higher frequency.

Ahaa I understand so I should buy fx6300 oc it and gather up more money to buy newer cpu and Motherboard btw thanks for help i really appreciate it ❤️
