mcnumpty23 Polypheme Jul 15, 2011 15,518 0 66,960 Nov 28, 2011 #3 if you are using 2 hard drives you dont partition just disconnect 1 drive at a time and install windows 7 on it then disconnect it connect the 2nd drive and install xp on it then connect both drives this way they get seperate mbr so if one drive goes wonky the other will still boot just set whichever you want to boot first in the bios or by using a boot menu--usually by pressing an f key at startup Upvote 0 Downvote
