What type and brand are best when purchasing Blu-ray discs?

Hello there, gentlemen,

Recently completed my first computer build for video editing with Adobe MC5.5. The optical drive I have is the LG WH12LS38K 12X Internal SATA Blu-Ray/DVD Burner with Lightscribe Support Writer/Drive. It came with the software, Cyberlink Blu-ray Disc Suite.

Now, I'm ready to purchase my first, blank Blu-ray discs (single layer and lightscribe printable). I will also purchase some rewritable discs. Not looking to spend a boat-load of moolah on my first purchases, but still want the best bang for the buck.

I mostly videograph local events, friends, and family.

What would you suggest?

I use Verbatim non lightscribe.


Now, I'm ready to purchase my first, blank Blu-ray discs (single layer and lightscribe printable).
