what type of booster do i need when my cat 6 cable is 600'

im hooking up a wireless router at the end of a 600' cat 6 cable. what type of booster is needed.

You are going to need to put a switch half way down the length. If you don't have power then you can get POE powered switches. If you can't put a device half way, then you will have to use fiber to go 600 ft uninterrupted.

To go along with kanewolf, you might be able to find a POE bridge or repeater, instead of an entire switch.

im not a very good expert with networking. I have heard that the cross talk (or magnetic interference I think?) will stop it so after 100ft I think the connection would go bad.

I think you would need fiber. which would lot more money for the transceivers and cable.

If you only need 100TX connectivity then this would be your POE repeater. Much cheaper if you have power available in the middle and can use a conventional switch.

Other option would be to use a VDSL2 bridge - slower, but very good range.
