[SOLVED] What type of HDD is this??

I just bought a Hitashi HDD. This hard drive has a physical bridge between the data pins and the power pins (SATA type). The bridge also has pins on the top of it. Nothing on the description page alerts the buyer that this HDD does not use standard SATA connections. I not a professional but I've never seen a hard drive like this one. I tried using an external reader but nothing. Is there a way to convert??

it sounds like you got a SAS drive or maybe U.2 form factor

with the drive model ID you don't have to rely on website's description.
go to official website and check it by yourself.
if you think you have been cheated then return it back to the shop.
