Solution
Here is a handy chart for sizing power supplies:
http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm
For GTX1080ti, it shows 600w.
But, the FTW is factory overclocked and may require added power.
I have no problem overprovisioning a PSU a bit. Say by 20%.
It will allow for a stronger future graphics card upgrade.
It will run cooler, quieter, and more efficiently in the middle third of it's range.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.

Do not buy a cheap psu, it may not deliver advertised power.
Look for a quality unit which will have a 7 to 10 year warranty.

Min 500W power supply is recommended but also depends on the whole system. Modular or Non-Modular is completely personal preference AND of course budget. Modular cabling makes things simpler, smoother, easier to install and manage tho. Chances are if you haven't used modular PSU before, you are gonna love it and may never buy non-modular again :D
