Hey,

I want to upgrade my PC after gaming with it for 4 years straight now.

I have a 2x4 GB and would like to upgrade to 16. My PC says that I have 2 slots remaining, I can't seem to find them though? What is the general area I should search for?

Anyway, I want to upgrade but I dont know what my motherboard can and can't handle.

I'm looking for cheap but powerful RAM sticks because I'm trying to play COD Warzone.

These are my specs:
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i5 6400 @ 2.70GHz
RAM
8,00GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1064MHz (15-15-15-36)

Motherboard
MSI H110M PRO-D (MS-7996) (U3E1)

Graphics
MD20435 (1920x1080@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 (MSI)
Storage
931GB Seagate ST1000DX001-1NS162 (SATA )

Thank you for helping me :)

(PS Im looking for the cheapest possible option out there.. Might consider 2x8 gb instead of 4x4 if that's more desirable.)

Sincerely,
Stephan

Welcome to the Forums. :D
the 6th generation was available with either DDR3L or DDR4 RAM.
your board specs say DDR4 2133.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H110M-PRO-D/Specification
1064Mhz RAM is DDR4 2133, The first D in DDR stands for DUAL. then DATA, then RATE.it sends and receives data each cycle, doubling the rate. for Dual Data Rate take the speed 1064 x 2 = 2128Mhz or 2133Mhz modules

you can install DDR4 2400 or even faster RAM, it will only run at 2133.
When looking for RAM get the lowest CAS, or CL in each speed, you cannot compare the CAS or CL of different speed modules. the lower the CAS or CL in each speed the faster the modules.

the motherboard model...

the motherboard model you listed only has 2 slots for RAM, other motherboards have 4 and the CPU is capable of 4 slots, but the board is hard limiting that to 2.

mixing RAM is a gamble and the motherboard will not allow more, so you must replace your RAM. I suggest slightly faster modules as they are cheaper than the 2133 modules now, from what I could see.

Hey, thank you very much =D

I have three options, and I'm not sure which one I should pick...
Which one would you recommend?

HyperX Impact 16GB DDR4 2400MHz which has 14 cas (90 euros for 2)
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB DDR4 3000 MHz (2 x 8 GB) Which has 16 cas (90 euros for 2)
Crucial CT2K8G4DFS824A 16GB DDR4 2400MHz (2 x 8 GB) which has 17 cas (80 euros for 2)

Thank you for taking your time, you're really helping me tons here!

I'd go with the Crucial Ballistix. It's not the cheapest, but has the highest clock speed. Also, it's dual channel, which is faster.
Edit: But I'm not the biggest RAM expert, if someone says I'm wrong, they're most likely right haha
