AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE oc 3.0
GA-MA770-US3
Enterprise NCQ 500GB 32mb 7200rpm
hd 4890
Corsair VX550 psu
current Ram DDR2 667 3x1 gig =3 gig ram using 3 slos

now im getting a Cpu cooler and some thermal paste this week
im going to aim to oc the cpu to 3.5g or above
the question is i don't really want 2 blow to much on ram
i have a choice out of
DDR2-800
TWIN2X2048-6400 Corsair TWIN2X 2GB (2 x 1024mb XMS2 PC6400) DC Kit DDR2 CL5 - 5-5-5-18 Heatspreaders
TWIN2X4096-6400C5 Corsair TWIN2X 4GB (2 x 2048mb XMS2 PC6400) DC Kit DDR2 CL5 - 5-5-5-18 Heatspreaders

TOTAL 6 GIG

i Live in Australia so the price are as follows
for the DDR2-800 6 gig =148$ au
for the DDR2 1066=$ 139 au

so what do you guys think would be best option i guess on the ddr2-1066 side i could get another 4 gig of it later witch would make (8) gig on but yeah big difference between the 2?

I would get 4GB of DDR2 800 unless you really need more (and have a 64 bit OS).
