Intel has come a long way with their IGP already especially the built in HD in the current Sandy bridge CPU's.

Hard to say whats going on but hopefully AMD could be great again. NVIDIA's Kepler is coming too, there are softwares using directly CUDA cores, so AMD must create relationships with big software companies such Adobe Premiere ...
