What upgrade should i get?

hi, i currently have a e8400 @ 3.93ghz and a 9800gtx. i am thinking about sticking with the e8400 and just getting a gtx 295 or, a q9550 with a gtx 260 core 216. i play fps games like crysis warhead. i will use my rig for gaming. which configuration is better for gaming? e8400 @ 3.93 ghz with gtx 295 or, q9550 with gtx core 216 and overclock the q9550? both cost about 500$ and i don't plan to spend more.

please help.

i have a silverstone OP750 which is 750 watt and i will be playing at 1680x1050.

Very few games currently make use of 4 cores, so your CPU is fine.

At that resolution a GTX260 216 would be plenty.
