Hi guys. I'm looking to buy a UPS for my computer, tired and worried of power outages, and I've been putting off buying one for a long time.

This is my system:
CPU: Intel i7 3770k
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 4gb (wink)
Motherboard: Asus Z77 Sabertooth
RAM: Gskill Ripjaws 8GB
PSU: NZXT Hale 80 850w
1 SSD 120gb
1 SataIII 2tb HDD
2 23' monitors (I guess one connected to the UPS would do the job for just turning it down).
Audiobox usb for audio.
Corsair H60 Watercooling system

I don't need to keep it runing for a long time, not even close. I just need enough time to shut down the computer and then just wait for the power to come back.

Another important thing is that I'm from Argentina, and we use 220w instead of 110w here.

Solution
The biggest power consumed is by the GTX 970, followed by the CPU (overclocked?) - A system power of 500 watts is required (you have 850, good) - This is when the PC is running at max performance. I would suggest 400 watts + 65 watts for the monitor for a total of 460 watts for the UPS unit. This will cover short time power outages (See UPS specs for the time).

Thanks for the quick response!

Here are my results from the OuterVision Power Supply Calculator

It says I should buy a 1100va UPS, think that is correct?

Thanks! The price for a 1200va goes way up from the price for a 1100va here in Argentina. Ridiculous! I guess there's more demand for 1100.

So I think I'll just keep the PS4 without a UPS.

Is the Apc Bx1100ci 1100va good enough?

That APC Back-UPS 1100VA BX1100CI should give you a runtime of 6.5 minutes based on your 437 W load wattage. If you were to plug in the PS4 it would reduce the runtime down to 3.5 minutes.
