Question What USB drive do I need to do Flashback on MSI board for 3000 series cpu?

Any decent 2, 4 or 8 GB flash drive (larger drives might work but these are the recommended sizes by most motherboard manufacturers) formatted to FAT32 should work fine.
Just be sure to follow the instructions for your motherboard as listed in the manual or on your motherboard manufacturers support page.

I personally just used a SanDisk Cruzer Micro 2GB drive to update the BIOS on my Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard from version 1201 to version 2704 today.
I flashed each version (2008, 2202, 2301, 2501, 2605 then 2704) in order.
I entered the BIOS and reset the Optimized Default settings and then rebooted after each update.
Using this method was slow but I don't have any of the issues that others have posted about.
I still have my Ryzen 5 2600 installed but I will be installing my new Ryzen 7 3700x tomorrow and I am pretty confident that it will boot and run fine.
