Question What voltage should I use for i7 2600k to 4.2ghz

I'm new to overclocking and I was wondering what voltage I should set my i7 2600k (currently stock speed of 3.4ghz) if I want to overclock it to 4.2ghz? The voltage is currently sitting at 1.264v. any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The exact voltage needed isn't the same for every 2600k.

What cooler and motherboard are you using? You could probably aim for 4.5ghz or more if you have a good cooler.

Right now I'm using a simple rosewill cooler but I'm planning on getting a Corsair h100x soon. My motherboard is an Asus Maximus iv gene z
