Question What was actual shared memory on igpu?

Hi there
I was confusing about shared video memory

I have an intel hd5500&nvidia 930M on my laptop
I see at task manager the igpu shared memory is 4gb
while i have 8gb ram installed
And i think its way to much shared memory for igpu

and make me more confusing is i set the dvmt pre alloc to 32mb.
so how much is the actual igpu shared memory?

it's normal, it wont take the ram space unless you game and the vram usange past 2gb vram for your case, for dvmt pre alloc is for thhe igpu. Rest assured, everything's normal

I actually working of finding the culprit of bsod, i tought it was gpu driver crashing

bsod happens when my sister use this laptop. So i didnt know what code is.
And she’s doesnt take any picture on it.
I try finding log with bluescreenview app.
And it doesnt show any error log.
And she say its happen under low load like document work excell etc.
So its hard to reproduce the error
