What wheel ? Simulations, races.. no budget limit, long term usage

So I'm looking for good recommendation to get wheel which is going to work fine with pretty much all driving games lately without bothering and looking for emulators or not being precise.

Euro truck simulator 2
American truck simulator 2
Dirt Rally
F1 2015 including older F1's
All kind simulations like Omni Bus
rfactor 2, live for speed, asseto corsa and other sim games
Dirt perhaps and other 2012+ games.

I know that Logitech G27 is most expensive but is there any other a bit cheaper ? It's 460e in my country which is approx 520$, not really good price..

Thanks !

So in the title you say no budget limit then comment on how expensive the G27 is? Does that mean that you actually have an upper limit that you would pay for a wheel.

I'm currently using a G27 and would honestly recommend it to anyone, it's a fantastic wheel. I know that some of the thrustmaster wheels (like the T500 RS) have better pedals and the ability to quick release the wheel giving you more options for which wheel you want to be using at that moment such as the F1 wheel or a BMW replica etc.

Another wheel that you could look at is the G29 (updated G27) from logitech, I know that they removed the gear stick for the G29 but moved a lot of the buttons onto the wheel itself making navigation and quick pressing of commands such as pit confirm (I'm looking at you F1 2015) much easier.

My recommendation would be either the G27/G29 or the T500 RS if there is no limit.

Well if g27 is worth 500 bucks then I would go for it but since prices are raised up a lot here I'm wondering is it actually worth ? I do want manual gear stick definitely so that is something like "must have".

I never had a wheel, neither I tried to drive a car on that matters so most realistic experiance is what I'm looking for. So far looks like that g27 is best option.
G29 unfortunately is out due to gear stick.

T500RS is 600$ here. As I said I'm "beginner" in terms of driving, mouse+kb was always my way of doing it but since I got solid 43" TV I wanna make that setup and I don't want to buy something where I get comments that something else would've been better buy.

If g27 is worth 500$ i'm definitely going for that, unless if thrustmaster doesn't give something which is worth extra 100$.

I see, when I bought mine it cost £180 or somewhere near the 230 euro/ $260 mark. If you were wanting something cheaper I know that thrustmaster do make a load of wheels that are cheap and should be a great way to get started, however I'm not sure if any of them have the stick shifter.

Is it not possible to import from a different country like perhaps the uk? I only ask because the G27 is one of the few that do offer the gear stick. If you were willing to ditch that then the thrustmaster T150 might be a solid choice to get you started.

The thrustmaster is vastly superior to the LG (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTXF3Dtt5y0) but none are perfect.

For perfect youd need a custom built system.

Neitehr Wheel is worth its price (both are overpriced) but if you are looking for "the best" experience you are looking at the T500.

I found "good" deal for 380e. Guy works with import from other countries/companies, warranty and other stuff comes with that. Over 1000 positive rating on our country website and a lot of friends confirmed that he is safe buy (something like amazon but for Serbia).

I was thinking between T500 and G27 first time when I thought about wheels to be honest. I'm newbie, I don't have driving licence neither I ever got real wheel in my hands, so I don't think that I will see any difference in begining whatsoever, custom builds will come later probably If I get addicted which is most likely atleast in simulations like ets2/ats. Races are next level for me but that will come on my list eventually :)
