Hi. My computer has a
dual core 2.6 Ghz E5600 Processor,
Gigabyte G-41 ES2L motherboard,
1+2 GB DDR2 Ram, and my
power supply is P-4 500W.

I want to play most of the low quality games like GTA-4, GTA-5, Max Payne-2, NFS Run etc.. and i would like to attach not more or less than 1GB graphics card.
So my question is what would be a best low cost graphics card within a midium range budget, and would i be able to run a DDR3 or DDR5 graphics card on my motherboard???
please ans...

Sapphire AMD R7 250 Boost 1Gb Ddr5 will be best.
And you can use either ddr3 or ddr5 gpu.The memory controller of a graphic card is independent from motherboards memory controller(in your case )since new cpu's since 2010 have integrated memory controller. But ddr5 provides much more speed than ddr3 so you should prefer ddr5 over ddr3

Since your PSU is a bit of a limit here, the 750 ti would be a good choice. It performs really well for the 60 or so Watts is absorbs, and some models do not require a power connector. This makes PSU compatibility very easy. If you want more performance, though, an R7 250/250X would be a decent choice as well. Quite honestly, your rig is pretty old, and a whole system upgrade might be a good idea. I'll whip up something cheap to run games at the settings you'd like, and I only recommend a new build since your current gen parts don't have much longer until you'll have to fully upgrade anyway
