You could always hound the rumor mill sites like Moore's Law is Dead, Wccftech, or whoever on Twitter makes hardware predictions

But keep in mind, none of these are crystal balls, so I hope you aren't banking your future on this.

Some investment hoping for a big profit (ROI)?

Or to simply pick a GPU that meets your requirements, is reasonably priced (subjective), and likely to last for awhile (also subjective).
