What will happen?

Ok I have 250GB hard drive and windows 7 and I have a bunch of movies and big game and I need a bigger hard drive what will happen if I go out and buy a new 1TB hard drive and plug it in what do I need to do with it?

You don't need to do anything, just plug it in. It will then show in Windows and you can start using it

You need to go into disk management, set a partition and assign a drive letter

I would suggest you then move the movies to the 1TB drive.
You cant just move a program or game to another drive without uninstalling or reinstalling it.
