What will I get from overclocking?

I have a i5 4690K and I plan on overclocking it to 4.2 GHz. I do not have a dedicated GPU.
I use Adobe AA & Sony Vegas. I also use MSI afterburner to record my screen.

Will overclocking improve anything for the programs mentioned above?
