I recently bought a 4790k and currently have amd components (4350 and r7 200) and I'm looking at a Gigabyte Micro ATX DDR3 Intel LGA 1150 SATA (6Gb/s) Motherboard (GA-H97M-HD3), I am wondering what I need to and if I need to do once I purchase it and a 1060. Thank you.

Licensing - You need to link your OS digital entitlement to your Microsoft account
Read and do this:

Operation - It may not boot. At all. Changing motherboards, this often happens.
You may need to do a whole OS reinstall. Which includes everything else.

Prepare for this before you change the hardware.
