What would be a good GPU for my BIOSTAR A780L3C motherboard?

I want to upgrade my old pc to it's max. I currently running the following:

Athlon II X3 450 Rana (Getting a Phenom II X4 955/HDX955WFK4DGM)
Kingston (SV300S37A/120G)
1TB WD Blue HDD
4GB Cheap Ram (Looking at Corsair 16GB/CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9)
500watt CoolMax PSU (Thinking about a CORSAIR CX series CX600)


I just seeking some thoughts on it, and what would be the best GPU for my set up.
I been looking at R9 270x but I'm not sure if the build would handle it.

The Corsair CX PSU , will not be the way to go, being known for their high failure rates and using Taiwanese capacitors (tier 4).

If this build is made for gaming purposes 8 GB's of RAM would do just fine.

The R9 270X it's not worth it , considering you can get the faster GTX 950 at a lower price point.

Yes this build is for gaming, for at least GTAV to run decent.
