The fans are screwed on this one and it got me thinking I could either replace the fans or buy a new GPU altogether if there's an affordable upgrade.

The GPU's pretty old so I figured there might be something within like 100-200 bucks that'd replace it comfortably.

Operating System
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i7 970 @ 3.20GHz 25 °C
Gulftown 32nm Technology
RAM
24.0GB Triple-Channel DDR3 @ 533MHz (8-8-8-20)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. Rampage III Formula (LGA1366) 38 °C
Graphics
SyncMaster (1680x1050@60Hz)
3072MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 / HD 7900 Series (Gigabyte) 55 °C
Storage
1863GB Western Digital WDC WD2003FZEX-00SRLA0 ATA Device (SATA ) 32 °C
223GB ADATA SP550 SCSI Disk Device (SATA (SSD)) 36 °C
28GB USB DISK 2.0 USB Device (USB )
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24LS70 ATA Device
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

Any suggestions?

Just looking to upgrade the GPU to a newer one, if it's affordable. If it isn't I'll just be replacing the fans. I enjoy PC gaming so I'd like to get the smoothest experience with that as possible, and with the recent GPU issues that isn't really a choice.

Thanks!

No problem, do you have any preference on shops?

Honestly? I'm located in Canada so somewhere that isn't far enough away it'll cost an arm and a leg is all I really care about. As long as it works well with what I've got in the PC currently and is better than the GPU I have now, I'm happy

This one will do good, and it can even run games if you want:
