what would be ideal $1000 photo processing rig

This will be mainly used for photo processing using Adobe and On One software, as well as storage and maybe small amounts of video. want to keep the price below $1000. Dont do any gaming. I definitely want an SSD and at least 1TB hard drive. This will be my first build. Thanks for your advice

I edited your list. I only removed the cooler since he won't be gaming and at that speed and hyperthreading won't overclock. The OS could be linux but windows is best for pretty much everything. I gave him a video card which is probably too much for his usage but it cn run Photoshop CC no prob and vegas pro 13 and After Effects CC too. There could still be room for a cooler if he stresses his cpu to...

You could edit it again with an HD 4XXX or 5XXX card since my experience with intel hd 4000 wasn't good in vegas pro 13 and Photoshop CC. Then, You could factor in the OS. Anyway here's the link:
