hello

so, I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC's GPU soon, a weak, embarrassing GeForce GT 730.

it gets only 9 FPS on unigine heaven and i hate how weak it is.

so im looking for a new GPU, the only problem is, it has to be small enough to fit into my rosewill FBM-01 case. any card and 11.6 inches long or smaller will be better, and there's also a PCI-e 1x slot above the PCI-e 16x slot. i don't want the GPU to block it since my sound card is there.

here are my system specs

PSU: 350 watt
mobo: GIGABYTE GA-G41MT-S2PT
CPU: Intel Xeon x5460 OC'ed to 3.42 GHz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GT 730
RAM: G.skill value series 8 GB DDR3
OS: Windows 10 64 bit

Well, for starters. The R9 480X is a great card. It will be released soon and will cost $200. But you will need to upgrade the power supply to handle that graphics card.
But You wont be able to get too much more performance as the CPU you have will bottleneck current GPUs.
So if you were to grab a 480x, you would need to upgrade your cpu and motherboard to be able to get the full performance

what about the GTX 960? ive seen videos of the xeon and GTX 960 running together and there's no bottleneck and the performance is great

with my GT 730, i have the settings on high with some on low and i get 45-60 FPS. so the 960 would be an improvement, i don't care if it gets 60 FPS or not, i just wanna be able to play the latest games
