I'm looking to get a new MOBO, but I can decided which type to get. So I was wondering what would be my best option. I'm looking to get a CPU that needs an AM3+. I'd like for the MOBO to have the availability of at least 16gb of ram. Also the potential to crossfire with at least one Radeon hd 7870. Any input is greatly appreciated thank you.

What CPU will you be using, and will you be overclocking it? I would suggest the MSI 990FXA-GD65. It provides two PCIe x16 slots for two graphics cards for use in Crossfire. I'm sure others can provide input on other manufacturers' options. Where does your budget on a motherboard sit right now?

Asus has 4 while two of them are X16-X16! and also cheaper!

Link me! Curious to see that around that price range.

EDIT: Missed the fact you linked it above. Looks good!

Look for specifications

I retract my suggestion on the MSI, go for this ASUS. Two additional SATAs (including eSATA) and way more USB. x4 PCIe and double the RAM you said you wanted, and cheaper.
