According to the item on Scan, it comes with 1x Dual Link DVI-I, 1x DVI-D, 1xHDMI and 2x mini DisplayPort whereas my monitor comes with VGA, HDMI and Dual Link DVI-D. I have tried HDMI before on a HD 7750 and it just doesn't looks as good as with VGA though I have never had DVI.

HDMI or DVI (Digital) should look better than VGA (Analog). If yours didn't, then there may have been something wrong with the monitor or HDTV you were using. The difference is subtle, but there is an improvement with digital over analog. One thing is that the video signal from the gfx card is digital to start out with, and would have to be converted to analog when it leaves the card via VGA and back to digital so it can be displayed on the digital flatscreen. Each time there is a conversion there is a slight signal loss and degradation. Also, analog is subject to overscan/underscan issues that need to be adjusted. Unless you have a problematic monitor/TV, either HDMI or DVI is the way to go. They both use the same digital video signal.
