Even a 770 will be good enough.

thanks for the rapid reply, any suggestions on ram and gpu? do you think the power surply has got enough watts to get a beefy gfx card?
many thanks sanders.

Oh yes your PSU is more than enough for beefy cards and OCing too. RAM needs to be 8GB to get full juice from your rig. I read it 8GB previously and that's why said no need to upgrade. I advice to get 4GB 1600MHz RAM more. Also, a R9 280X is the best value for money here, $310. Or maybe you can consider the R9 270X for $200. R9 290 for $380-450 or 780 is an even better option, you'll not feel much difference on FHD though. I'd say upgrade to R9 280X for $300, 4GB 1600MHz RAM more and enjoy your build :)

Right so if i got a 780ti or something near that price range would i need a good monitor to notice the difference? As im just using a led tv at the moment [sorry i could go on forever with these questions lol]

yes, you need a monitor with a refresh rate of 120hz or above to notice the difference, if you plan on sticking to your led tv, a 780 will be fine
