What would you like to see in an FPS Game...

So ive just got CRYENGINE, And im hoping to put some really good time and effort into making a little game. But what would you like to see in an FPS Game?

* Survival, ETC these kinds of things, the little things that make the game AWESOME 😀

Some of the features from Syndicate, like the mind hacking and how the HUD moves when you do.

Mine hacking sounds pretty good, muhahah

Parkour,medium maps not too big not too small and with buildings on it. Because i usually buy FPS game with good maps on it after the gameplay. And medic healing like in Far Cry 3 and loot for ammos.

Hmmm....


I would like:

1. Open world sandbox. I can do the mission / main story or I can simply ignore it.
2. Limited ammo and health packs for better realism.
3. The ability to craft your own weapons and armor.
4. The ability to create your own med-kits using things from the environment like various plants.
5. An intelligent A.I. so that enemies / friendlies can switch over to better weapons when available and also take cover.
6. Multiple solutions for every objective.
7. An RPG element like Fallout
-a. Dialog options with branching outcomes.
-b. Skills based abilities - the more you level up, the better your accuracy
-c. Higher skill levels opens up more abilities
8. An actual single play campaign that is at least 36 hours long and an engaging storyline.
9. A game that provides tools to the modding community to push the game in direct (like Bethesda's games)

That's all I can think of for now.

Graphics.... Well graphics is nice, but I prefer things that actually provides more depth to a gameplay experience. I would actually prefer a DX9 game which provides all the things I listed above to a DX11 game that is dripping with mega eye-candy, but is nothing more than just a hack 'n slash game. Basically, great visuals is always welcomed as long as the game has good gameplay to back it up.

Yeah, it really is. In Syndicate you can force them to fight for you and then shoot themselves or make them pull out a nade and detonate it or cause their guns to explode.
