What Would You Prefer?

FSB 400 and 1 gig of Ram

or

FSB 333 and 2 gigs RAM

both at CAS 2

Unfortunately on my board, I cannot adjust the Memory timings.

Me personally? I've run with just 1GB of RAM and disabled my paging file and I never get out of memory errors...then again I don't play PC games usually until they're either about a year old or they aren't the top-notch graphics intensive. I'd stick with 1GB w/400FSB. If you actually plan on using XP 64-bit edition go with the 2GB though.

I do what bourgeoisdude does. The only games which needs more than 1GB with exec paging disabled are still WoW and BF2.

Hmmm...
Find the cheapest pair of branded 2x1GB DDR400 with CAS2.5
Mushkin Blue, GeIL, or Corsair Value are good.(You know what I'm talking about)

I am running my two OCZ gig sticks at CAS 2.0 at 1T!!!

So it helps a little that I am stuck ay 333 mhz.

yeah, I have pulled out my share of hair with Studio since 8. But with 10, it can edit High def footage, and I am wonding if it can take regular mim DV tapes and up-convert them to HD?

I tried 10, it's damn slow and full of bug. Don't bother with it yet. Wait for the patch that should be released soon.
