What would you say is the ideal size for a 4k monitor?

I'm trying to decide if I should get a 40'', 48'' or 55''. I plan on using it for gaming and movies/shows.

They don't make monitors that big. They make TVs that big though.

I found the Dell E5515H 55.0-Inch and the Philips 4065UC 40 Inch both are about $1000.

There are a couple 40'' monitors the Philips and 44k Crossover, but for the higher sizes, I was considering 4:4:4 TVs like the 2015 Samsung and LGs.
