I am looking at this Dell 43" 4K monitor

I am wondering if it would be too big. The size is very subjective. Currently I have 34 inch main monitor at 2560 x 1080 Resolution and 27" Full HD (regular monitor). My 34 inch is the same height as 27 inch, nut longer. It does not looks that big. I would like it to be slightly bigger. I am using it for audio production and will have similar view on the display as shown on that Dell picture. My recording software shows audio tracks and they are long- the video just runs the tracks. So to me- the more audio clips I can see the better. However- with 34 inch monitor, the vertical real estate is smaller and I can see less tracks, so I have to scroll a lot.

How is the higher resolution looks like? My understanding- the objects will appear smaller and more objects would fit on the screen, right? This is why I would be ok with LARGE monitor- it should fit more audio tracks with longer tracks on the screen, right?

But then again- I have 40" Sony TV in my bedroom and it is huge. Under no circumstances I would consider to bring it and pout it on my desk. But then 40 is not that much more than 34, is it? Thank you.

Do you know any other large monitors with reputable brand? I don't want some WASABI. Need something like Acer, Asus or LG. Thank you.

i run two 40inch 4k bdm4065 for productivity.
my coding friends also use this in portrait.
for the money of the dell, if i were to add another 4k screen (large) i would ( and am) be looking to compare that with a larger 4k tv with 4:4:4 etc and hdr and 10 bit. the response times of some seem to be acceptable for a casual gamer and certainly dont impact the work i do. this way i would get more real estate and (possibly) a better 4k movie experience in future when not working. so samsung lcd seem to stand oput as best choice. oled is out for me due to burn in i think still an issue so no good for pc.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I got Dell, it is BIG, and I like it! My 27" monitor at work looks like a toy now. It is not ideal for text but in general- good monitor. Thanks.
