i got a used alienware with an i7 4790 and a busted r9 270 for 200$ , i currently have an r7 250 1gb out of my old pc in it, should i go 1060 3gb or 1050ti 4gb? also it has 16gigs of ddr3 1600

The 1060 3gb is definitely a faster card and the 4790 can handle up to a 1080 or 1080ti very nicely. Honestly the 1060 6gb or 1070 would be better choices or an rx 580
