im pairing it with a rx6600xt and a z690 moboIn most situations, I'd vote for the 13700F on a pure performance basis.
But it does NOT have integrated video. The 12700K does.
I don't know if that matters to you at all. It would to me.
im pairing it with a rx6600xt and a z690 mobo
so just use i7-13700f with ddr4That wouldn't change my opinion.
You might have to update the BIOS on the z690 to use the 13700F.
What board and cooler are you using for that set up?so just use i7-13700f with ddr4
Better DDR5 support.its a combo deal on newegg
mobo:
MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR5 LGA 1700 Intel Z690 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard
cooler:

will it handle the i7-12700kbtw that Thermaltake cooler isn't going to handle a 13 gen i7 but this one will. Pair it up with low profile RAM so that there's no clearance issues.
