Hi i'm going to get a new pc :

CPU : I5

Ram : 8.G.B kingstone 1600

HD:1 Terabyte

(I'm a gamer)
and now the VGA I was planing to buy a nividia geforce GT 630 but I had Radeon HD6450 2 g.b DDR3

I know the best choice for gamers is GTX but its kinda expensive here so I wonder which one is better for me ?

PS: I might buy a GTX I'm not sure

whats ur i5 model?

If you are getting an i5 CPU with 8 gig of RAM, I'd get a better video card.

A Radeon 7750 is only $20 more but is quite a bit faster, A Radeon 6670 is the same price and also faster.

I'd suggest at least a 7750 though. Or even a 7770 if you will have over a 300 watt power supply.

Better off spending a bit more and having a good system than spending almost the same and being annoyed with it. I once spent $250 on a PC speaker system, but never once since I got it years ago have I thought "you know, I wish I got this other one". If I went cheap and got something for $70, at some point I would have been thinking I wanted something better and that $70 was going to be just added on top of the price of the speakers I wanted in the first place. Spending another $20-40 on a video card will get you a lot more peace of mind, especially when you try to play a new game and good settings.

Well thanks to you guys I don't think im going to get GT630 it's not that good for the newest games or even the old high graphics games so I can buy a GTX 630 but is it better than the HD 7770 ?

go for Amd 7770.better yet a 7850

go for Amd 7770.better yet a 7850

There is no GTX 630, only GT. I think the GTX cards start at 650, which is about the same rank as the Radeon 7770 if you get the TI or TI Boost version, but I think they are a bit more in price.
Don't get any card over the 7750 unless you have at least a 300 watt power supply, and you'd want 350-400 to ensure the system does not crash and has a regular life expectancy of the components. You don't want your power supply to be running at almost max load all the time.

Oh yeah sorry I meant GTX 650.

Well I found the GTX 560 OC 1GB GDDR5 and its 1000 pound

the GT630 is 500 and I can buy that GTX card so what do you think about it ? and can someone please explain to me what does GDDR3 and GDDR5 mean ? thanks so much for helping me :) i love this website

Like the guy above said, what's ur psu?gddr3 and gddr5 is the type of vram the card have.gddr5 is obviously faster.EG. Gtx 560 2gb gddr3 will lose to.a gtx 560 1gb gddr5.bottom line is always go for card with gddr5.and yes a gtx 560 should be fine if ur psu is 300w

Yes I did actually check the prices for the power supplies and they are pretty cheap 200-300 pounds the 300w is 170 i think and the 350 is 220 pound

If you want to get that 560, you'd want a 350 watt power supply, should go with a 400 anyway for a gaming system.

What's the price of the 7770 in your area? Or a Radeon 7790? The 560 is a good card, it's about the same range as a 7770 if you want to get an nVidia card. The 560 Ti is even better.

For future upgrades i recommend atleast above 400-500w.also make sure the psu is a well known brand(atx, corsair)and bronze certified just to be safe.cooler master psu are either good or bad.well i do.have one that didnt give any problem up to this date.psu is actually not something u want to go cheap on.also i would pick nvidia cards.not that amd are bad,it just that drivers update took a while.

Yeah the Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7770 OC 1GB GDDR5 prices are 825-1100

and the XFX AMD Radeon HD 7790 Core Edition 1GB GDDR5 price : 1,300

the GTX 560 Superclocked 1024MB GDDR5 : 1,200-1,325

These are public prices i mean the company which i'm going to get the pc from has different prices but they are all around 1000-1400

I found this power supply : HEC Raptor Power 500w PSU its 375

and I think i'm going for the gtx because I used a pc with that graphic card GTX 560 and its amazing and I also used a GT 630 its also pretty good but the AMD Redeon I had only the HD6450 and idk how the 7770 would be like

The 560 is better than the 7770.a match for the 560 would be the amd 6850.the good thing about the 7770 is that it uses less power.also if u can get the 560ti or 660ti it should be good.otherwise u are already good to go.

The 7790 is a faster card than the 560. The 7770 is about the same speed as the 560 but is cheaper. The 560 Ti is a bit faster than the 7770 but is again more expensive. The 560 OC is fine, but not the "best" in the class. 7770 same speed (withing a few % points) but is cheaper. The 7790 is same price but is faster.

The HEC power supplies are cheap, but do have some issues. Mostly good reviews, but some really bad results http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-339-020&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Keywords=%28keywords%29&Page=1#scrollFullInfo

I'd stick with something better quality. This Enermax looks to be good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194088 and so does this Rosewill http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182066

For a quality power supply you are looking in the $60 range for something in the 400-500 watt range. Maybe $40-50 for a 350.
