Hello,

I'm looking at the instructions for my new PCE-AXES5400 card , it's to a PCI-E component that adds wifi and bluetooth to a PC. Wifi is straightforward, but if you want Bluetooth to work, you have to "Connect one end of the bundled USB cable to the USB port on PCE-AXE5400 and the other end to the F_USB connector on the motherboard."

I'm not sure what F_USB is, is that related to the front-USB?

So I'm looking at my P520 Thinkstation motherboard, and I don't see anything that could be compatible with this USB cable. I look at the documentation for the Thinkstation, pg 42, and I don't see anything there either for a F_USB. There's some USB 2.0/3.0, but that's it.

So... should I return this card? Is this just incompatible with my PC?

F_USB is also a USB header, similar to others, just its labeled like that where it means "front-USB". The front panel one should go there, but any other USB header is also fine, its just a USB header with a different name.

Unfortunately, I tried #38 already, and it doesn't fit. The cable that comes with the card has 4 pins on the top row, 5 on the bottom. #38 on the board has 5 pins on top, 6 on the bottom. One too many pins on both rows.

Well damn, I'm not sure where to go from here. Is there anything I can do, or will I have to return the card?

Edit:
I'm thinking an adapter is all I need

I installed the adapter I linked from ModDIY, and it worked great!

Did a test run the other day to see if I still get missed inputs on my XBox controller: None! I used to get so many with my Bluetooth Dongle. Maybe there's good BT dongles out there, but the last one I had was not so great. The built-in Bluetooth on previous system also had that problem.
