My friend wants to have a computer that can decently play most modern games, and I figure if I can get some cash out of it, might as well upgrade.
In great condition, never been overclocked or anything like that.
Price at time of purchase in parentheses (for my own reference)
Hardware only, asking price will not include any software.
Case: Antec 300 ($49.99)
Mobo+Processor: Gigabyte G41M-ES2L + Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHz ($149.99)
Memory: 4 GB DDR2 ($39.99)
Vid Card: EVGA Geforce GTX260 896 MB, 216 cores ($120 got on a good deal in 09')
Hard Drive: 750 GB Western Digital SATA (~$69.99)
DVD Writer: Sony ($20)
Power Supply: Antec Earthwatts 650 W (~$69.99)
some extra cooling fans: (~$20.00)
Also, if I can spend around $200-$300 extra after selling, to something like an i5-2600 and GTX550 Ti, would this be worth the upgrade? Part of me is thinking that my system is still pretty damn good right now and I wouldn't see much improvement.
Thanks!
