[SOLVED] What's a good anti-malware software other than Malwarebytes?

I just used malwarebytes and it detected and removed 4 files; however, my system is still pretty weird.

My suspicion of a virus because because of an increase in CPU temps. I used malwarebytes and it decreased, following the removal of 4 trojan miners; however, my system's temps still hasn't gone down to its usual temperatures

What other software can I use? I am certain there is something else driving my temps higher than usual

Anti-Malware software does nothing against viruses. In addition to anti-malware, you need anti-virus software.

As to the original question, the only other anti-malware software that I ever used was Spybot: Search and Destroy

And I will add the suggestion that you update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age condition.

There can be many reasons for an increase in CPU temps....

Take a look in Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer for anything running that you do not recognize or expect.

Then research accordingly. Could be hiding in plain sight.

Also: any idea where those 4 trojan miners came from? Recent game or other app downloads? Source?
