So, looking for motherboards is just such a horror show. All reviews I see are mixed. What would be a good z270 motherboard that could overclock my i5-7600k to a good stable amount, like at least 4.6 GHz for 0-149 dollars. No bios updates, would like for it to look sexy and nice

It comes down to personal preference really, what appeals to you? what fits your budget?

Other things like what features do you want? who offers the best warranty?

Good brands that you can trust include Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte are my top three picks.

I add Asrock to those three imo.

So, something nice would be the protector that a lot of the more expensive ones have over all the ports.
Crossfire GPU support
High quality
Wont break after like a few months
Maybe some nice LEDs (Not really important but just a nice plus)
Not a bad amount of sata ports
Like I said before a good stable OC (I have a liquid cooler so heat shouldn't be a problem)
Supports 6th and 7th gen (Pretty sure all z270 boards do)
